Liberal Democrat MP Claire Young has called on the government to freeze energy bills following Ofgem’s announcement that the energy price cap will rise again in January.
The Thornbury and Yate MP, Claire Young has written to the Chief Executive of the Post Office, urging him to halt plans which would see Yate Post Office close – leaving the town without a branch.
Thornbury & Yate MP Claire Young has said that the new £1bn of funding announced for support bus services must be used to deliver a minimum level of service for rural areas, instead of it being funnelled into urban areas which are already well served.
Responding to the news that Yate Post Office is at risk of closure, Local Liberal Democrat MP Claire Young has said she will be writing to the Post Office and campaigning to ensure it stays open.
