Make the Henfield Road / Westerleigh Road Traffic Lights Permanent

Temporary traffic lights at the junction of Henfield Road and Westerleigh Road, Kendleshire were installed in 2023 after the A432 bridge closed. They have improved traffic flow, made access onto Westerleigh Road safer, and reduced dangerous situations for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.

These lights are due to be removed shortly after the A432 bridge reopens. However, their success has shown the clear need for a permanent solution at this junction.

We are calling on the relevant authorities to install permanent traffic lights at the Henfield Road / Westerleigh Road junction to keep this busy junction safer for residents, businesses, school traffic, and commuters.
