A Thornbury gin distiller has been given a special spot as the official guest gin in the House of Commons this week thanks to a recommendation from local MP Claire Young.

The Labour Government's choice to hike inheritance tax on farmers is simply wrong. Farming families plough large sums into their farms to grow food for our tables, and most make very little for themselves. We need to be taxing the big landholders and landbankers, not small family-run farms.
