Littleton-on-Severn Speeding Petition

Cllr Tony Williams and Mark Oaten are campaigning to tackle dangerous speeding through Littleton-on-Severn.

Residents have repeatedly raised concerns about vehicles travelling through the village well above a safe speed, putting pedestrians, cyclists and children at risk. Despite this, the village still lacks appropriate speed restrictions and traffic calming measures to keep people safe.

In many cases, drivers are passing through at speed with little awareness of the residential nature of the village, and there is currently no effective way for residents to hold anyone accountable or see meaningful change.

This campaign highlights the real safety risk this poses to the community and the urgent need for action. It calls on the council to:

Carry out a full review of speed restrictions currently in place through Littleton-on-Severn.
