Claire Young:  A real champion for our environment

Claire Young will be Thornbury & Yate’s greenest ever MP. She has a proven track record as a tireless campaigner for our local environment.

Claire’s led the fight against sewage dumping in rivers across the Thornbury and Yate constituency unlike the Conservatives in Parliament who’ve voted to keep this dirty practice going for years to come while water bosses continue to be rewarded handsomely for failing to clean up their act.

As Council Leader, she’s proud that the new Local Development Plan tackles environmental issues and will see South Gloucestershire build its most environmentally friendly, and energy efficient homes ever.

As our next MP, Claire could do even more to help safeguard our area and our environment.
