Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022

Eddy Gadsby, President of South Gloucestershire Liberal Democrats, has issued a statement on behalf of the Party: 

"It is with great sadness that we received the news of the death of Her Majesty the Queen, a great monarch who served our country faithfully all her life.

"We give thanks for her lifetime of devoted service to others, with unwavering strength, loyalty and personal humility. She represented duty and courage, warmth and compassion.

"We extend our deepest sympathy to the Royal Family and all those whose lives she touched.

"And we uphold The King and all those who take up fresh duties, as they mourn the death of their mother, grandmother and great grandmother."
