Save South Gloucestershire's Buses

Sign our Petition

Buses across the area have been cancelled, and more are planned

We are all suffering from cuts to bus services and the dreadful unreliability of the services that still exist.

A string of services were cut on 24th April 2022 including, the T2 from Thornbury to Bristol and the Y2 from Chipping Sodbury to Bristol via Downend.

At the time there was a string of reductions in service including the Y4 terminating at Yate Park and Ride rather than the town centre and a reduction in frequency for the 48, 49 and the 70.

Then on 9th October further cuts were made including the full withdrawal of the Y3, Y4, Y5 and the 5 and 72a. This has left many residents with bus services that take longer and are less frequent, or don't exist at all. We are all now struggling to reach work, school and our vital services by public transport.

South Glos Lib Dems have been fighting to restore the cut services and working with residents and officials to find a way to improve our buses. But we need your support. Please sign our petition so that we can show the how much our buses are supported and wanted by our community.

Save Our Buses

We, the undersigned, call for reinstatement of the cancelled and reduced bus services across South Gloucestershire and for the West of England Mayor, Conservative government and South Gloucestershire Council to work with local people to improve our bus network with more frequent, reliable and affordable services.

We will keep you up to date by email.
