A string of services will be cut from 24th April 2022 including:
- The T2 from Thornbury to Bristol
- Y2 from Chipping Sodbury to Bristol via Downend
There are also a string of reductions in service including the Y4 terminating at Yate Park and Ride rather than the town centre. Some of the other changes include reduction in frequency for the 48 and 49, Bristol City Centre to Emersons Green/Lyde Green and the 70, Bristol City Centre to UWE Frenchay Campus, as well as the 6 and 7, Bristol city centre to Kingswood/Staple Hill.
We, the undersigned, call for reinstatement of the cancelled and reduced bus services across South Gloucestershire and for the West of England Mayor, Conservative government and South Gloucestershire Council to work with local people to improve our bus network with more frequent, reliable and affordable services.
