GP in Cheswick

In their General Election manifesto the Conservatives promised 50 million new GP appointments. If they are to achieve this hundreds of new GPs and surgeries will have open across the country, and following the closure of the Northville Family Practice in September residents across Filton, Cheswick, Stoke Park, Stoke Gifford, and students at UWE are without a local GP surgery. This means some residents currently have to travel as far as Bradley Stoke just to see a Doctor.

A new surgery in Cheswick would give residents and students in the area the support, care and service they deserve and reduce the strain on our already over-stretched health services.

If you agree sign the petition below.

We, the undersigned, call on the health scrutiny committee to make the strongest representations possible to the Clinical Commissioning Group and demand that Cheswick is one of the areas considered for a new GP Surgery to serve the Parish of Stoke Gifford, Filton, North Bristol and the surrounding areas.
